Caddi Founding Engineer: Give on-chain users superpowers

With over a million traded by our 3000 browser extension users, we’re looking for a passionate Founding Engineer to accelerate the on-chain revolution.

Our current team of 2 is small, but mighty: founding CEO (ex-Citibank quant, published researcher, crypto algo-trader and 2x EthGlobal finalist) and experienced front-end developer (ex-Y Combinator crypto startup engineer and DeFi contributor). We believe the most under-explored area to provide value in crypto is the space between wallets and dApps, Caddi is our exploration of this.

We're looking for a motivated engineer, tasked with shaping Caddi to build a better on-chain future. We are highly independent and crypto-curious, balancing solving technical problems with maintaining a user-centric product mindset. Your Role:

• As a founding engineer, you’ll have full autonomy to lead the Caddi end-to-end experience.
• Spearhead the development of our backend, smart contract integrations and cross-chain capabilities.
• Collaborate to decide, implement, iterate and learn together with the existing team.
• Use cutting-edge tools to simplify on-chain actions, directly impacting our user-centric product.
• Ship DeFi and wallet primitives leveraging Account Abstraction and MEV/Intent based transaction protocols.

What You Need:

• Brilliant communication skills, adaptability, and a thirst for crypto innovation.
• 4+ years in development with a portfolio that speaks to clear, reusable code.
• Strong in Javascript, React, Solidity and Cloud engineering.
• High autonomy, ownership, and leadership mentality are crucial as you will be a pivotal in shaping Caddi’s future, through technical development and company culture
• Growth mindset; “Strong opinions held weakly”.
